What is the mission of ‘Made in Wycombe’?
The mission of ‘Made in Wycombe’ is very simple; to boost trade, investment and jobs for the benefit of people living and working in the district.
What will ‘Made in Wycombe’ do?
Raise the profile of Wycombe District through collaborative marketing for example
How will ‘Made in Wycombe’ boost trade?
By undertaking collaborative marketing to help increase networking and supply chain connections. By showcasing the creativity and vitality that exists within the districts’ niche manufacturing capability. By making visible and accessible in one place the variety of branded business-to-business and consumer focused enterprises that design and produce products and services in the district.
How will ‘Made in Wycombe’ attract inward investment?
By marketing the breadth and depth of our current manufacturing supplier base and establishing the core reasons why these companies chose to invest or grow in the district. Exploit the many reasons why Wycombe District is a good place for business and especially so for companies that design and produce products and services.
How will ‘Made in Wycombe’ help create jobs?
Those companies and organisations head quartered in Wycombe District and specifically those that produce and design products and service for both UK and export markets are well placed to scale up human resources if better conditions for trade and investment can be nurtured.
How much does it cost?
MIW will not charge membership fees but donations are very welcome. We intend to charge partners if they are involved in any of the collaborative marketing programmes we implement.
For example: website membership FOC, website banner advertising, digital magazine A4 ad, 2012 directory, video interviews for You Tube channel
