Local businesses are being invited to make themselves heard at the Wycombe Business Summit, on Friday 17 June, at the Arts4Every1 Centre. The aim of this event is to bring together business and community leaders to discuss how to encourage growth in order to improve the district's chances for success.

The Wycombe Business Summit is being hosted by the Wycombe Partnership, in association with Wycombe District Council and Wycombe Enterprise. Steve Baker, MP for High Wycombe will introduce this event and help to facilitate one of the sessions.

Dr. Lorraine Watkins-Mathys, Chairman of Wycombe Enterprise, commented: "If companies, organisations and people are to thrive it is essential that we work together to develop strategies for growth. I would urge any local business owner to attend this free event and make their voice heard on the three of the most challenging missions we face: Business Growth, Sector Growth and Skills Growth."

The programme for this event will focus on how to make Business Growth happen and will include interactive sessions aimed at agreeing actions to support growth as well as providing opportunities to showcase success stories.

The Wycombe Business Summit will be held at a new venue, the Arts4Everyone Centre, which is set to become a destination for local people, organisations and businesses to explore and develop their creative and entrepreneurial potential.
