Looking to be a leader in Social Media? We can help...

Whether it's consumer or business-to-business, social media is the place where new trends and developments are redefining the way we communicate and do business. Every organisation and every person on the web needs to know how social media can benefit them and how it can hurt them if they don't understand it.

Social Media Magazine is the place where leaders in social media can propose their views, where those interested can ask difficult questions and where businesses with products and services to sell can find interested buyers.

To be launched later in 2010 www.SocialMediaMagazine.co.uk will be a digital magazine covering the latest emmerging trends in social media and social networking. To accompany the website will be www.SocialMediaShow.co.uk. This will be a regular video podcast featuring leading exponents and providers of services and products in social media.

If you would like to get involved please sign-up to this group on Making Bucks and we will let you know when the new site goes live. Also please join any of the discussion groups below that may be of interest to you. For more information please call me on 07767 383914

A good move Mike. I really welcome a forum where local businesses can share ideas on social media and online promotion. There is a real uphill struggle for many businesses in understanding the possibilities and returns that can be gained from including social media in the marketing mix. Let's hope that the magazine can reach a wider audience than people like us that are involved in delivering solutions and break out into the wider business community.

I think the unfortunate problem with social media is the word "social", to many of the businesses that I deal with it implies the antithesis of their business approach. This inevitably leads to barriers being built before they fully understand the concepts behind this powerful medium. Let's hope this venture goes some way to changing all that.
